2011 Sailing Season

The Y-Flyer Midwinter Championships are in just 6 days.

The boat is ready. Final preparations continue.

We leave for Columbia, South Carolina on Thursday morning, March 3rd.

The 5 race series will be on Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and 6th on Lake Murray.

The 2010 Y-Flyer sailing season was a good one.

Code Blue Racing traveled to regattas in South Carolina, Ohio, and Illinois, Massachusetts and New York. And of course we raced nearly all the races at Lake Lashaway and ended up with the season championship. Along the way we started using our newly discovered speed formulation. Code Blue's secret bottom rub.

The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater at Saugerties

Yesterday was a beautiful warm fall day. While spending the time at our marina in Saugerties, we spotted the Clearwater tied to the town dock. We went over and I took a few pictures while some of the crew was working:

The Clearwater usually spends the winter in the water at the marina in Saugerties. This year I have heard she will be in the Port of Albany getting a new bow:
